Welcome to the new proStyle
Home of my new style guides and tips for performers.
I’ll make a confession. Microsoft Office had been a mystery to me for the majority of my young life. A big, beautiful mystery...but one in which images suddenly jump from page to page, and table columns decide to turn into

And thus this millennial had been brought to his knees by an endless succession of shiny Macs running inscrutable office software. I thought, “I’m an artist! I attended art school and was trained in Photoshop long before it was ubiquitous. I should be able to arrange text beautifully on a page.”
And with practice, I got better. I revamped by lackluster, hard-to-edit résumé as I learned how to showcase myself better. Today, my résumé gets as much attention as my audition or interview. The goal is always to showcase yourself in the best possible light. The secret is vision, practice, and just a little secret knowledge about word processors—hidden stuff under the hood that unlocks all sorts of super powers you and I never knew were at our fingertips.
The Journey
We’ll cover “styles” (not only in the sense of your “personal style,” but also something you computer knows how to interpret), typesetting, and overall design. After we tackle résumés, I’ll show you how those same tools apply to web design. Then, we’ll talk photo editing and beyond.

These tips are geared towards performers and actors, but they are just as powerful for business folks. I should know—I was once an aspiring lawyer/investor/doctor like you. Thanks for coming along for the ride. I can’t wait to share my experience with you.
